Entering its third decade of honoring the nation’s best high school athletes, Gatorade Thirst Quencher, in partnership with Scholastic Coach & Athletic Director magazine, today announced Megan Hodge of Riverside High School (Durham, N.C.) as the 2005-06 Gatorade National Volleyball Player of the Year.

USA Men win NORCECA Championships

The USA Men’s National Volleyball team won the NORCECA Championships in Winnipeg, Canada. The USA competed against Mexico, Puerto Rico, Barbados, Cuba, Canada, Panama and the Dominica Republic for western hemisphere bragging rights for the next two years.
