Although Tim Bryan is a hotel engineer by trade, he has always been a big sports fan. Sports writing and weather have been his two hobbies so to speak. His wife has always said he should have been a sportscaster or weather man. Although he lives in California, his home and heart are with the Broncos and Colorado football, his favorite sport. However, he also loves baseball and hockey. He used to write "letters" to the Sports Barn on The Sporting News site before they ended that, as well as to Sports Illustrated many years ago.
