His degree is in Drama from Washington University in St. Louis, but he enjoys writing about anything that rouses his passion -- high school basketball, Iowa State sports, poker, the sports/gambling road trips he tackles with his friends -- pretty much anything that gets him excited. He has worked as a correspondent for the Quad City Times, a high school tutor, a speech/debate coach, a web editor, a poker player and a professional playwright.
