The Maryland Terrapins men's basketball team lost in the NIT semifinals to the Gamcocks of South Carolina. It has been a frustrating season for the Terps and their fans, but one that will eventually serve as a stepping stone for great things to come.

The Washington Wizards are finally giving the fans what they have been craving for a long time. A season devoid of losing and questionable player transactions have sell out crowds rolling into the MCI Center. Optimism and confidence are oozing off the court, which is a much welcome change from the past.
