Dale Tafoya has interviewed professional athletes, celebrities and religious leaders for more than a decade. He attended Chabot College in Hayward, California, where he studied mass communications, literature and journalism. His piece, "A Different Kind of Injection," captured Northen California's Best Sports Feature Story by the Journalism Association of Community Colleges in 2004. His article was later named Honorable Mention in state competitions. In 1997, he began his career in journalism as an intern for San Francisco's KFRC 610 AM, where he assisted radio personalities and interviewed several Oakland A's players. His passion for baseball and fascination with writing helped launch him into the world of publishing. Tafoya lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
