There is in response to Rollo Manning?s article against Rugby League ("Rugby can confuse," 10/24/2004), after all America is a democratic country where debate is welcomed. Rugby is not confusing! There are just two different types. As with "football" ? the NFL, CFL, Aussie Rules, Gaelic and soccer - the variation on the same theme adds to the enjoyment. All can exist side by side and be appreciated by sports fans worldwide. Please read on and allow me to offer the alternative argument for Rugby League!
