It's finally here -- the best Sunday in all of sports.

It?s the last Sunday of the football season that you won?t have to find a way to kill time. The Super Bowl?s great, but what do you do before 6 p.m.?

So clear your schedule, send your wife and kids shopping for about 8 hours, because its Conference Championship Time!

If you?re like me, you?ll be searching for a pregame show by 9 a.m., but settle on three or four SportsCenters in a row.

Yes, it?s going to be a great Sunday. And as you know, with any great Sunday, comes great predictions.

Let?s get right down to it, shall we?

Game One, 3:00 p.m. (eastern), Atlanta Falcons at Philadelphia Eagles.

There?s a buzz going around that Terrell Owens will be suiting up for this game, which could be a potential difference maker in some people?s eyes. It?s not a difference maker to me however.

Now relax diehard Eagles fans, let me finish. The reason I won?t label T.O.?s availability as game breaking is because Philadelphia has this game regardless.

Just like you, I saw the Atlanta Falcons manhandle the St. Louis Rams last week ? and yes, I picked the Rams in that game. So as I remove my foot from my mouth, let me reiterate why I can?t pick the Atlanta Vicks, err, Falcons this weekend.

Atlanta?s QB Michael Vick is an incredible breakaway runner, but not an effective quarterback. A defense cannot give up 47 points on 82 yards passing ? and the Eagles won?t.

The Eagles D needs to treat every play like a running play, because regardless of the package or play call, the Falcons beat you on the ground.

The Falcon offense has been dynamite at times, but dismal more often. Let?s not forget that this is the 20th ranked offense in the league.

The Eagles boast the 10th ranked offense in the league ? thanks in part to Owens. However, they have plenty of other weapons, none more potent than Brian Westbrook.

Westbrook is a sensational runner, and an even better receiver, which makes him dangerous no matter where he lines up.

With the emergence of "The People?s Champ," Freddie Mitchell, the Eagles offense will still be effective against the strong Atlanta D.

Now let?s talk about that Falcon defense. They have the best pass rush in the league, but Philly?s QB, Donovan McNabb, is no slouch when it comes to avoiding the rush. (Anybody remember a 14 second adventure out of the pocket earlier in the year, which turned into a into a bomb for a TD?)

The Falcons defense gets their credit, but at 14th, they?re still behind the Eagles 10th ranked defense in the league.

Advantage: Philly.

Owens may change this game by a touchdown, but Eagles fans rejoice because you?re going to the Super Bowl!

Eagles win 27-20.

Game Two, 6:30 p.m. (eastern), New England at Pittsburgh.

Now this game is interesting because the Pittsburgh Steelers are the home team, they are the team with the best record in football, AND they are the team that broke the New England Patriots winning streak. Yet, they are still ? three-point underdogs.

Only against the Patriots could the best team in football be underdogs in the playoffs on their own turf.

But I can?t disagree.

After last week?s Manning-handling, the Patriots are poised to destroy Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger. Considering Big Ben?s unraveling against the New York Jets last week, I?d say that?s a pretty good strategy.

The interesting challenge for the Patriots is dominating the clock on the road with Corey Dillon like they did so well against the Indianapolis Coltsl.

While the New England defense shut down Colts RB Edgerrin James last week, they?ll be seeing double this week. The Pats fabulous linebacker group will have to stop both Jerome Bettis and Duce Staley -- much easier said than done.

After blanketing the Colts stellar wide receiver group, the Patriots defensive backs should have the same success on Sunday. Pittsburgh has a great group of wide outs, but they have a shaky rookie throwing the ball to them.

I was never on the Big Ben bandwagon, but you can?t take away the 14-0 record that Roethlisberger has compiled. However, he looked horrible in the Jets game, and if he wears gloves again this week, he will make bad passes again.

Unlike the Jets, the Patriots will make you pay for those mistakes. And unlike Jets kicker Doug Brien, Patriot kicker Adam Vinatieri will not miss a game winning field goal -- let alone two.

New England QB Tom Brady and the seventh ranked Patriots offense will have their work cut out for them against the best defense in the league, but as always, they will be calculated and efficient with Cory Dillon.

More so than that, Pittsburgh?s 16th ranked offense will have more than a problem with New England?s 7th ranked D.

The Champs win on the road, Patriots 23, Steelers 14.

Soak up these games folks, because we have a two week drought until Super Bowl XXXIX.

Here's to football!
