The Islanders are currently only three points out of the final playoff spot going into the upcoming rematch with the Rangers. There are also only 14 games left on the schedule to accomplish the task.
The question is, which Islander team will show up – the offensively impotent squad that could put any of 53 shots past Florida's backup goaltender Craig Anderson, or the gritty bunch who seem to always rise from the grave once everyone has buried them?
