The New York Giants' victory over the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl was nothing short of miraculous. The Patriots were a far superior team. If the Giants and the Patriots played 10 games in a row, the Patriots would probably win nine times.

However, that does not take away from the fact that the Giants outplayed the Patriots in the one game that mattered most – the Super Bowl.

Now that the dust is beginning to settle on the Giants' Super Bowl victory and teams and fans are beginning to look towards next season, here's an interesting question. Could the Giants be building the NFL's next dynasty?

While watching the Giants win the Super Bowl, the first words that came to mind were "miraculous," "shocking" and "amazing." But, the Giants are not just a bunch of guys who came out of nowhere to win the Super Bowl. The Giants are a very young, very talented football team.

The core of the Giants' offense during its Super Bowl run included Eli Manning (27 years old), Brandon Jacobs (25 years old), Plaxico Burress (30 years old), Armani Toomer (33 years old), Ahmad Bradshaw (21 years old), Kevin Boss (24 years old) and Steve Smith (22 years old).

The core of the Giants' defense included Osi Umenyiora (26 years old), Michael Strahan (36 years old), Justin Tuck (24 years old), Corey Webster (25 years old) and R.W. McQuarters (31 years old).

If you study the core of this Giants' team, the majority of those players still have at least another five years in the league. Not to mention Jeremy Shockey (27 years old) and xxx Mathias Kiwanuka (24 years old), who will both return from injuries next season.

Strahan could be retiring this year, while Toomer might have another two to three years left. Both would be huge losses to the team. But, other than Strahan and Toomer, this core group of Giants' will be together for a good while to come.

As these young players continue to come together as a team and gain more confidence, is it such a stretch to say that the Giants' could be building the NFL's next dynasty?

Time will tell.
