Anaheim doesn't have "Mighty" in their name anymore, but they were mighty enough to win the 2007 Stanley Cup.

Lord Stanley now calls Anaheim home until next season.

When they entered the league in the 1993-1994 season, many hockey fans laughed.

What kind of a name was the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim for a hockey team?

Hockey in Anaheim, California? And just where is Anaheim on the map anyway?

They were named after a Walt Disney movie anyway and played their games near the "Happiest Place on Earth," Disneyland, for heaven's sake.

They were the forgotten hockey club in California behind the San Jose Sharks and even their freeway rivals, the Los Angeles Kings.

However, nobody is laughing at the Ducks anymore.

Whoever thought the Anaheim Ducks would be the first team on the West Coast to win a Stanley Cup, defeating a team from a Canadian city, no less?

The Ducks came close to winning it all in 2003, but lost to the New Jersey Devils.

Ironically, the Ducks' captain, and playoff MVP, Scott Niedermeyer, was a member of that Devils' team.

Now, after defeating the Ottawa Senators 6-2 on Monday, June 6, the Ducks are singing the words of that old song by Queen – "We are the champions.!"

Who's got the last laugh now?
