Teams that were once pass happy may start running the ball a bit more. Edgerrin James is still considered by many to be a first-second round selection and why shouldn't he? Poor Marshall Faulk is out for the year and Stephen Jackson must step up for the St. Louis Rams to contend. The San Francisco 49ers... well, lets skip them. Can the Seattle Seahawks repeat?

All these questions and more are answered below.

Arizona Cardinals

Stud: Larry Fitzgerald/Anquan Boldin. Take your pick… I mean, really, take your pick!

Dud: Kurt Warner, QB. He can still throw 300-yard games, but can't find the end zone anymore. Takes too many sacks and is a slower pocket passer than most in the NFL. Matt Leinart will be seeing action by week 6, minimum.

Sleeper: Edgerrin James, RB.

St. Louis Rams

Stud: Torry Holt, WR. Like a faster Rod Smith, a veteran receiver who just never seems to get old. Has the knack for getting open and whether it was Warner, Marc Bulger or Ryan Fitzpatrick, he always delivers. Look for another 1,000 yard season with 9-12 scores.

Dud: Marc Bulger,QB. I just don't see him playing a full season this year. He looked a little shaky in games last year. Just because Mike Martz is gone now, doesn't mean the Rams aren't still a pass happy team. Fitzpatrick showed some promise last year with mixed results.

Sleeper: Stephen Jackson, RB.

San Francisco 49ers

Stud: Antonio Bryant, WR. No one talks about this guy and I'm lost as to why. Put up his first 1,000 yard season last year and get open rather easily. He can't not help Alex Smith get more comfortable.

Dud: Kevan Barlow, RB. He has been a disappointment for the 49ers. Years ago when people heard that he hung out with Terrell Owens at the gym and did the same workouts as T.O. they thought he would be elite. He is serious doubt in San Fran and Frank Gore looked better than Barlow last year. I would like to add Gore is coming off two torn ligaments in college and still looked better then Barlow last year.

Sleeper: Frank Gore, RB.

Seattle Seahawks

Stud: Shaun Alexander, RB. What more does this guy have to do to earn "Top 10 players in the NFL according to CBS Sportsline." Double digit touchdowns every year, 1,300+ yards every year and is a better pass catcher than ever. He will prove a point once again this year now that his offensive line isn't the same as the past two years. Doesn't matter, trust me! Only thing that concerns me is being on the cover of Madden! Yikes!

Dud: Darrell Jackson, WR. Again, hard to find one on this team. I would have to say Jackson only because with the addition of Nate Burleson who could really stretch the field better than Jackson and is a bigger red zone threat.

Sleeper: Nate Burleson, WR.
